FAQ --- Q : When I run the test, I get an error message "Possibly Insufficient Video Memory". Why ? A : It could be one of two things : - If your video card has less than 2 megabytes of video memory, you will get this message, and Ancient Evil will probably not work. The only way to fix this problem is to upgrade your video card. - Some DirectX drivers don't seem to report the correct amount of video memory. This situation can only be fixed by Microsoft and/or the video card manufacturers. If your video card does have 2mb or more of video memory and this message occurs, you can safely ignore it. Q : Which version of DirectX should I use ? A : The lastest version, which is currently version 5. You can obtain it from our web page, in the Ancient Evil/Files section, or direct from Microsoft, at http://www.microsoft.com/directx Q : If I take part in this test, whats in it for me ? A : You'll feel better about yourself, as a human being. You'll be able to sleep at night, knowing that you have done a great service to humanity, by ensuring the that this game will work correctly on the widest range of computer systems possible. 7.
